Children’s Hope Chest
Children’s HopeChest responds to God's desire to create a world where every orphan knows Him, experiences the blessing of family, and acquires the skills necessary for independent life. We accomplish this through programs that actively take orphans out of the social isolation of the orphanage, and place them into a community.

Bringing orphans into community takes many forms. For some, they will be connected with a sponsor who prays for them, writes them letters, and releases financial resources into their life. Other orphans will experience family in the context of a Family Center or within a foster family. Some older orphans will benefit from the programming of a Ministry Center that provides life skills training, mentorship, role modeling, and recreational activities. Others will learn how to live on their own through an Independent Living Program.

The common thread is relationship. Orphans are first abandoned by their parents to live in an institution. Many of these children still have parents, and live each day knowing that they were rejected by their own mother and father. Many are unable to fathom how others could love them when their own parents have forsaken them. By design, our programs work together to bring orphans out of their abandonment, and into relationship, community and family. In doing so, we fulfill the promise of God to “set the lonely in families.” (Psalm 68:6)

Hope Community Church is partnering with Children's Hopechest by sponsoring an orphanage in Russia located in the region of Vladimir in the city of Murom. The orphanage is named Murom #2. Hope also tithes 7.5% of their gross income to help support the orphanage.

Additionally, we will have a mission trip at least once a year where a group will visit the orphanage in Russia to see our children. Our intent is to show them our love, and teach them about God's love for each and every one of them.
